The A1 Swim Coaching Program is designed for swimmers who are committed to improving their swimming skills through consistent practice and dedicated effort. Our progressive curriculum begins with Learn-to-Swim instruction, advances through Stroke Development, and ultimately prepares swimmers for Competitive Swimming.

Whether your goal is water safety, stroke refinement, fitness, or competition, our experienced coaches provide personalized guidance to help each swimmer reach their full potential in a supportive and encouraging environment.

YOUR PRIVATE SWIM COACHES

You will receive a personalized coaching program tailored to your needs. We start with learn-to-swim level and work up to competitive swim biomechanics and race strategy.

The program is based on a minimum duration of 6-months

  • 1:1 Private Structure: Every private session includes exactly one swimmer and one coach in the water

  • Semi-Private (2:1) Requirement:  For all semi-private or partner swim sessions, the client must provide both swimmers. We do not pair individuals; partners are typically siblings, friends, or family members of similar ability.

  • Weekly Consistency: Sessions are scheduled once per week in a consecutive manner.

  • Fixed Logistics: Swimmers work with the same coach, at the same time, on the same day, and at the same pool or facility to ensure continuous progress.

  • Package Flexibility: We offer weekly sessions at the same time and day, or build custom program based on coach and clients' availability.

make up and cancellation policy

  • The 6-month coaching agreement is based on a discounted coaching rate. If the client chooses to cancel the agreement for any reason before completing the 6-month commitment, all completed sessions will be recalculated at A1 Sports Coaching Group's standard private swimming session package rates (based on the applicable 4-session or 8-session package pricing). Any remaining balance resulting from this recalculation will be due at the time of cancellation.

  • Clients are eligible for one (1) makeup session during each two months, provided they give at least 24 hours' written notice by email before their scheduled session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, regardless of the reason, are not eligible for a makeup session.

  • Makeup sessions are offered based on coach and pool availability. All makeup sessions must be completed within the same two-month period in which the canceled session occurred.

  • Clients must confirm acceptance of an offered makeup session at least 24 hours before the scheduled makeup appointment. Unconfirmed makeup session offers may be released to other clients.

  • Makeup sessions are typically scheduled on weekdays between 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM or Saturdays between 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM, subject to availability.

  • A1 will make three (3) reasonable attempts to schedule a makeup session. If the client declines all three offered makeup sessions, the makeup session will be considered completed.

  • If a client schedules a makeup session and later cancels it for any reason, the makeup session will be considered used and will not be rescheduled, credited, or refunded.

  • A1 Sports Coaching Group reserves the right to cancel a makeup session due to unforeseen circumstances, including pool closures, inclement weather, or coach illness. In such cases, the makeup session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

  • For semi-private (2:1) coaching packages, makeup sessions must be coordinated and agreed upon by all participating swimmers. Makeup requests must be submitted by the primary registrant (the individual who purchased and manages the package).

POOLS

We have three convenient locations in Maryland and offer year-round swim instruction. Our facilities are heated to 84 degrees Fahrenheit and feature multiple lanes and depths to accommodate all levels of swimmers.
